The PURO range of oil/water separators separates oil from condensate, generated by compressed air systems. The PURO uses a specially designed filter, instead of a weir, to remove the bulk of the oil and any type of condensate drain may be applied.

Principle workings of the PURO
The newly designed improved performance element offers substantial benefits over and above the floating type element.
The new static first tower element combines various types of absorption and adsorption technologies to achieve the lowest possible oil residue values.
As condensate flows through the new filter, the oil is filtered out, while the purified water passes freely towards the nexr separation stage. In comparison to the floating type element, the new static element offers maximum filtration ability both above and below the water level.
Subsequent separation stages incorporate specially selected actived carbon to polish out the remaining contaminants.
