Description
Variable rake CNC shears offer increased versatility, providing the ability to cut both narrow or wide strips of metal, as well as cutting thin or thick sheets. Both the rake angle and the blade clearance are adjusted hydraulically, reducing maintenance and providing overload protection. The rake angle can be adjusted from 0°3’ to 2° reducing distortion in the sheared material, which can be especially beneficial in the shearing of narrow strips. In addition, the Durma VS series of variable rake CNC shears offers a shearing capacity ranging from 6mm up to 25mm. This proven adaptability makes the VS series a great asset to any shop where there is a need for a variety of cutting options. With the D-touch 7 CNC Control Unit interface included, it is even easier to make precise, perfect cuts in seconds via the intuitive programming options available to the operator. The high-speed ball screw back gauge is another excellent feature on this line, providing accurate cutting and movement control for your material with the supporting linear guides.
